Three buildings holding 355 rooms and suites on Ajyad Street, about 350 metres from the Haram and within walking distance of the King Abdul Aziz Gate. Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, minibars and satellite television, and there is a 24-hour restaurant serving regional food. One thing to know before booking: the hotel sits at the top of a steep incline. The walk down to the Haram takes five to ten minutes, but the return climb is demanding, and guests travelling with elderly family members should plan on using the free 24-hour shuttle, which runs roughly every five minutes in both directions.
